Common questions
How often should my septic tank be pumped?
Most household tanks need pumping every 3 to 5 years. Tank size, the number of people in the home, and whether you use a garbage disposal all change that. Call us and we can help you figure out a schedule.
Do I need to be home when you pump?
Not always. If the tank lid is accessible and we know where it is, we can often do the job without you there. We'll talk it through when you call.
I don't know where my tank is. Can you still help?
Yes. Let us know when you call. Old records, the location of your clean-out, or where the main line leaves the house can all help narrow it down.
What shouldn't go down the drain?
Wipes (even "flushable" ones), grease, paper towels, feminine products and harsh chemicals. They don't break down and can clog your tank and lines.
